When it comes to movies of noted stars from the same family, the formula is to arrange for a gap between the releases so that the revenue on the movies does not get distributed. But there seems to be a possible hitch that might happen in the case of mega powerstar Ramcharan Teja and stylish star Allu Arjun.

Apparently, both of them are currently busy with their movies and while Charan is arriving with his ‘Magadheera’, Arjun is coming up with the sequel to his blockbuster hit ‘Arya’. However, the mega family is said to be looking at creating a gap of at least 50 days between both releases so it remains to be seen who will take the first step in this one. Let us hope this is more of a family decision without affecting anyone’s egos so that all will benefit well at the end.

BAPATLA (GUNTUR Dt.): Praja Rajyam founder Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja on Monday accepted that there were 14 persons from Other Castes among the 104 Backward Classes candidates who were supposed have been given party tickets.

Speaking to media persons at Bapatla railway station, he said that even if 14 were OCs, the PR accounted for giving 90 seats to BCs – the highest among all parties. When asked if the allegations of their party general secretary Parakala Prabhakar, who quit now, that there was some OCs from among the alleged 40 identified by him as OCs out of the 104, his answer was that PR had given more than 90 seats to BCs and did not want to prolong the issue further. He, however, asserted that social justice was brought about by the PR by allocating seats to a particular community who patronage TDP and also made a person in-charge of Guntur district party unit. “They have not given tickets to people from our community at all,” alleged Thota Chandrasekhar during the press conference.

Ramcharan Teja on the verge of completing his ongoing project has signed for a new film to be directed by Bhaskar. Nagababu will produce the film on Anjana Productions which will go to the floors on 15th March. More details on this would be disclosed once cast and crew is finalized.

It is high time ‘new blood’ enters politics as newcomers with a clean record could alone bring about a desirable change for betterment of society, Praja Rajyam president K. Chiranjeevi asserted on Thursday

Mr. Chiranjeevi, who addressed meetings during his road show at Chapadu, Mydukur, Khajipet and Chennur on the second day of his ‘Praja Ankita Yatra’ in Kadapa district, maintained that a ‘real change’ would improve the lives of the common man and the middle class. His roadshow drew impressive crowds despite being at least four hours behind schedule.

Reiterating his resolve to root out ‘political corruption’, which jeopardised societal interests, he called upon people to welcome a change for setting up a new order. Development should not be confined to a particular place, he stressed. He was a determined soldier and people were backing him; both could build a progressive society. This goal could be reached only when welfare schemes reached every household.

The party’s policies would be pro-farmer, he said.

Referring to Krishnapuram (KP) onions, a pungent variety which has large export potential and is grown in vast extents in Mydukur, he assured to give a fillip to export if his party was elected to power.
