Nagababu and Pawan Kalyan not to Contest Elections

Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi’s brother Nagababu made it clear that he along with his brother Pavan Kalyan would not contest the ensuing polls in the state.
He arrived here to take part in a party meeting on Saturday. Later, speaking to newsmen, he said that groupism in the party would no longer be tolerated and those who encourage it would be dealt with severely

Referring to the entry of leaders into Praja Rajyam from several other political parties, Mr Nagababu said that they were joining the party as they were interested in the party goals and objectives and added that in a democratic setup everyone has a right to join any party of his or her choice. However, he made it clear that only those who comply with the party norms would be given the responsibility and said that Chiranjeevi’s fans would also be given prominence. He expressed confident that the Praja Rajyam would win nearly 200 seats with 20,000 majority each in the ensuing polls for the Legislative Assembly.

Mr Nagababu said that all districts, including West Godavari, which is the home turf of Chiranjeevi, would be given equal prominence. With regard to party’s stand on Kolleru issue, he felt the need to conserve and protect the lake from environmental point of view. He said that the party high command would decide on possible alliances with other parties for the polls.

Devender Goud Has No Other Way

He was known as the most trusted lieutenant for the strategic Chandrababu Naidu and much to everyone’s shock he parted ways with him at the right time quoting the Telangana sentiment.

Now, a founder of Nava Telangana Praja Party (NTPP), he is currently jammed from all sides.

We are talking about the once highly respected Devender Goud who has now become a mute spectator to the Tsunami of Chiranjeevi, the winning moves of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and the hard work of Chandrababu Naidu since he has nowhere to go.

It is now being said that Goud will most likely associate with Chiru since KCR of the TRS has come forward to join hands with Naidu and this means that the only way of surviving in this game is to associate with the big fish. However, it remains to be seen if Chiru is having any such thoughts since there is no indication from him about Telangana.

Kamma vs Kapu: Tollywood split in the politics

Tollywood divided in to two groups? Is the caste ruling the hearts of Tollywood family? Will the anti Kapu’s announce their non-cooperation to their co-star Chiranjeevi’s political party.

The answer is ‘yes’ if you observe the scenario that took place at election of new body for Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce.  It is a well known fact that the majority people in Tollywood belong to Kamma community. They all (?) have announced their unconditional support to KS Rama Rao, who had been elected as the President of new body of APFCC. KS Rama Rao and Allu Aravind (who is a Kapu) contested for this position and Allu Aravind was forced to sign off from the elections as he got the clear picture of what’s happening over there.
KS Rama Rao, however, stated that he is not against Allu Aravind personally. Some of the Tollywood big wigs ruled out the allegations of caste politics in Telugu cine field. But it is evident that Chiranjeevi is going to get minimal support from Tollywood for some ‘special’ reasons.
