RAJAHMUNDRY: The Karem Sivaji group of Mala Mahanadu has declared its support to the Praja Rajyam. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Mr. Sivaji, who commands the support of a majority of Malas along with Amalapuram MP G.V. Harsha Kumar, said that they would give support to the PR from outside.
One person died and 10 others were seriously injured when the balcony on which they were standing to see the Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi collapsed at Nandikotkur on Friday.
Jilebi Mahbub Basha, 45, of Pamulapadu village died in the incident. Several people had come to Patel Centre in Nandikotkur for the road show. Mr Bhuma Nagireddy, informed Chiranjeevi about the incident and he stopped his speech in the middle. Some people were unhappy as Chiranjeevi did not speak to the injured.
Meanwhile, two more cases were registered against Chiranjeevi, one each at the Bandi Atmakur and Nandyal police station, in Kurnool district.
The police registered a case against Chiranjeevi for addressing people at 11.15 pm on Thursday. The Nandyal one town sub inspector, Mr Maheswara Reddy, said case was regis tered against Chiranjeevi, Mr Bhuma Nagireddy, Mr A.V. Subba Reddy, and 11 others as Chiranjeevi addressed people at Srini vasa Centre at Nandyal after 10.30 pm on Thursday. Already two cases were reg istered against Chiranjeevi in Koilkuntla and Dorni padu police stations for vio lating rules on road shows.
In Tirupati, during a PR programme attended by Allu Aravind when several people tried to get on to the dais, three persons were injured.

In a close circuit talk among 5-6 individuals, Chiranjeevi off the record came out with his anguish that has been piling up in his heart. He scolded Ramoji Rao with all possible filthy words pointing out his caste-biased outlook and narrow minded vision. He said it seems, “I though great about Ramoji Rao. But I’m now coming to know his grey side. Although many said many things about him, I thought all those were rumors. But he is very bad and demeaning the pride of journalism”. Chiranjeevi, founder-president of Praja Rajyam Party, put on the grease paint again for the election campaign Ads for his party. The footages have been shot with Chiranjeevi for about 25 ad films, which will go on air from the first week of March.
The party is already tele-casting five Ad films on various channels. The films include the abusive language used by the Opposition leader, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy, on the floor of the House.

Praja Rajyam party president Chiranjeevi addressed a series of meetings at Velugodu, Atmakur, Pamulapadu and Nandikotkur before reaching Kurnool on Friday. He halted briefly at the Velugodu balancing reservoir to have the glimpse of the water spread area.
Mr. Chiranjeevi tried to drive home the point that people attending his meetings were serious about the policies of the party. There was no truth in the charge that they were awed by filmi glamour, he said. On the free power policy, he clarified that it was not the concession given to farmers alone but to the entire society. With the free power, farmers were not charging air-conditioners or refrigerators but producing food for people. If the government was concerned about the welfare of farmers, power should be supplied during the day. 0Party general secretary Allu Aravind who spoke to reporters said Chiranjeevi would contest from Tirupati and from one more seat from the Godavari districts. It would depend on the collective decision of the party, he said and added that Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu would not be in the electoral battle.
Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi delayed his road show at Velugodu by two hours on account of his wedding anniversary on Friday. His wife Surekha and other relatives joined him to celebrate the occasion at the makeshift tent on the outskirts of Velugodu.
Mr. Chiranjeevi and Surekha cut the cake, exchanged garlands and accepted greetings from near and dear ones.

Just in par with CNN IBN and CSDS, PRP appointed a very reputed well established and experience poll agency to find out the voters intention in all the 294 assembly constituencies and 42 Lok Sabha constituencies. The survey is conducted with a huge sample of 35000 eligible voters. The sampling is done taking into consideration the income, educational, caste, profession and religious parameters. A scientifically designed questionnaire was canvassed by experienced investigators across the state.
The following are the summary of the poll results:
1. PRP is likely to win 90 out of 123 constituencies in the coastal region
2. PRP is likely to win 80 out of 119 constituencies in the Telangana region
3. And in Rayalaseema, PRP has many chances in over 35 constituencies out of 52 constituencies in the region
In about twenty seats, the poll forecasts, PRP is likely to win anywhere between 50% – 60% of those votes
In 40 constituencies, PRP is poised to win about 50% of the vote
In 60 constituencies, the voting percentage is likely to be between 45 and 50%
In another 60 constituencies 35-45% of the electorate has expressed it’s preference for PRP.
Overall, the Praja Rajyam Party is favored in about 180 constituencies.

BHADRACHALAM: The Yuvarajyam chief, Pavan Kalyan had walked and danced hand in hand with the people from the tribal communities and devoted much of his time for understanding their problems during his tour in the remote villages of Poalavaram -hit Chintur and Kunavaram mandals on Thursday. Tribal youths from the neighbouring pockets in Chhattisgarh also thronged his meetings as he is the “star of some political importance” for them.
Addressing the road side meetings during his road show, he wanted the rehabilitation of the tribal communities affected by the Indirasagar to be
completed on priority before the project could come up. He assured the tribal communities that the Praja Rajyam would fight for their cause. No family should be left deprived because of the project. He said that the rehabilitation packages should have been implemented in the first phase, before executing the canals.
As he arrived in Yerrampet village by helicopter, there were more media persons than the party workers waiting for him. The crowds started swelling as he reached Chintur. Tribal youth from Kunta division of
( Dantewada district) Chhattisgarh too could make it to Chintur. He is of special attraction for us, no matter who wins the election, said a youth who greeted Pavan Kalyan holding the PRP flags aloft.
The Yuvarajyam leader said the PRP had equal concern for the tribes of Chhattisgarh and it would stand by them.
He had a dig at the government pointing out that though huge funds were being funnelled into the implementation of the tribal welfare programme,
only a small fragment of the benefits reach the genuine beneficiaries. He gave a patient listening to the tribal women at Nimmalagudem. They complained that the lands given to them were not of much use.
The implementation of the housing scheme had its own problems.

The Praja Rajyam is persuading Mr Allu Aravind, the brother-in-law of the party president Chiranjeevi, to contest the Lok Sabha polls, sources said. Surprisingly, Chiranjeevi is against his brothers — Nagendra Babu and Pavan Kalyan — contesting the elections.
Sources in PR said Mr Aravind may contest from Narsapur or Machilipatnam Lok Sabha constituency. Mr Aravind is known for his acumen in planning and has played a key role in the launch of Praja Rajyam.
“We are going to play a key role at the Centre by winning several Lok Sabha seats. So, our party leadership is planning to send Mr Aravind to Delhi,” said a close aide of Chiranjeevi on condition of anonymity.
However, some family members of Chiranjeevi do not favour this move. Sources said that they wanted Aravind to stay in Hyderabad and look after the party’s election campaign instead of contesting the elections. Chiranjeevi will contest from the Tirupati Assembly segment. He had disclosed earlier his desire to contest from the abode of Lord Venkateswara.
Meanwhile, the PR will announce its list of candidates in the first week of March.
KURNOOL: Praja Rajyam will make all the difference in the politics of the State soon, party chief Chiranjeevi has said.
Talking to reporters at Allagadda on Thursday, he said the Praja Rajyam was delaying the finalisation of the manifesto as the Congress was copying everything from it. Whatever promised by him was implemented by the Congress, he said.
Mr. Chiranjeevi said though the CNN-IBN channel enjoyed the highest credibility, the poll survey of the channel failed to gauge mood of the people at the grassroots level.
He said the party would finalise the selection of candidates by the end of the month. There was delay on account of involvement of district conveners in the selection process, who were asked to gather information of potential candidates.
Dismisses claims
He dismissed the claims of the Mahakutami saying the parties had no common agenda and every party had its own policies and ideology.
People would not take seriously the opportunistic alliances, which were forged for electoral gains. Mr. Chiranjeevi hoped that the Election Commission would grant the common symbol to the party by the end of the month considering the strength of the party.
Within a month of the party’s birth, lakhs of people have joined it. Even the sitting MLAs resigned from the Assembly and joined the party.
To a question, Mr. Chiranjeevi clarified that the Praja Rajayam had no truck with the BJP or any other party except Nava Telengana Party.
