The rumors are in full swing in filmnagar political circles that Parakala Prabhakar who played the key role as official spokes person of the PRP is likely to resign for the primary membership of the PRP.
If the rumors are right, Parakala Prabhakar is likely to announce his resignation tomorrow with media.
The reasons- The party has completely ignored and he was denied the Parliament (Narsapuram) ticket.
Ever since rebel star Krishnamraju has filed his nomination at the Rajahmundry constituency, one man who seems to have been hitting the roof is none other than Bommana Rajkumar, the man who owns the famous and prestigious Bommana Brothers chain of showrooms.
It is now heard that Rajkumar has decided to show his power and has teamed up with other BCs. His only agenda is said to be to see erase the presence of PRP in the Rajahmundry area. Bommana Rajkumar hails from the weavers’ community and he has the huge support of his community along with others.
This would mean that the Mahakootami party will have an edge and it is time megastar Chiranjeevi realizes the impending danger. Meanwhile, locals from Rajahmundry say that Rajkumar has enough clout to do what he wants so it could well be doomsday for Chiru in Rajahmundry now.
Right now, the news is that Raj Kumar is spending every penny to pillage PRP in Rajahmundry. He also joined hands with Murali Mohan to see the defeat of PRP’s MP candidate Krisnam Raju and Challa Shankara Rao (Velama), the PRP’s Assembly candidate.
A detailed study was necessary for taking up bauxite mining in Visakha Agency area as exploitation of mineral resources was good for country’s economy , said Yuva Rajyam leader Pavan Kalyan at Paderu on Monday.
At the same time the welfare of displaced must be ensured as the tribals were being neglected even while implementing the government schemes, Mr. Pavan Kalyan said at an election meeting held near Modakondamma temple.
There was some confusion regarding his visit as the Praja Rajyam organisers announced that the leader’s visit was cancelled.
But the visit was confirmed at short notice and when Mr. Pavan Kalyan reached Paderu, people were not present in large numbers.
Convenor of urban and district units of Praja Rajyam Ganta Srinivasa Rao, party’s candidate for Araku Lok Sabha seat M. Simhachalam, contestants for Paderu and Araku Valley Assembly segments T. Krishnaveni and M. Jayavathi were present.
No one seems to be an exception these days when it comes to fulfilling the ‘vaastu’ sentiment or any sentiment for that matter before embarking on any major missions. That is what exactly Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi did on Saturday after filing his nomination for the prestigious Tirupati Assembly constituency amid a lot of glitterati.
After filing his papers, he drove straight to Jeeva Kona, a labour-dominated colony located in the north-east corner of the temple city skirting the base of the Tirumala hill range. Vaastu experts aver that the north-east corner —‘eesanya moola’ as is called in the vaastu jargon is considered the most ideal and auspicious spot to launch any major mission.
As another sentiment, Chiranjeevi’s wife Surekha who was at Tirumala on Wednesday got his nomination papers kept at the holy feet of Lord Venkateswara in the hill temple to seek the divine blessings. Even TDP president Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly done it when he visited the hill temple the same day along with his wife, Bhuvaneswari and son Lokesh.
At Jeeva Kona on Saturday, Mr. Chiranjeevi after a brief puja in the north-east corner of the north-east colony, hopped on to his open-top vehicle and led a huge rally through the main streets signalling the start of his campaign for his election from the seat.
In fact, his decision to contest from Tirupati itself is to fulfil a sentiment meticulously practiced even by the TDP founder late N.T. Rama Rao.
Like the TDP scion N.T. Rama Rao, Mr. Chiranjeevi also is contesting from two constituencies—Palakole in his native West Godavari district and of course, Tirupati. In fact, NTR on his debut contested from three seats—Tirupati, Hindupur and Gudivada, but retained only Hindupur, relinquishing the other two.
It is to be seen which of the two seats would the PR chief retain if he wins from both Tirupati and Palakole. It would again involve a ‘sentimental’ conflict for him —whether to retain Palakole and fulfil the ‘native’ sentiment or retain Tirupati and fulfil the ‘divine’ sentiment.
In a retort to chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy‘s song and dance remark, Yuvarajyam president Pavan Kalyan said they are very much clued in to politics and that they know it isn’t four duets and a two-hour drama.
“Like films which have a climax of thrills and tension, the political game is full of drama and action coupled with backstabbing. We are prepared to face everything in this political line,” Pavan said. At a press conference here on Friday, the maverick actor debunked charges that PRP is fleecing money from prospective candidates for granting tickets.
“We have never looked at the money aspect. The PRP has been launched to extend a helping hand to the suppressed sections of the society. Our party is based on ideology and not on money and riches,” he said and added that theparty’s candidates’ list should silence the detractors.
He also disputed the theory that PRP is meant only for the family members of brother Chiranjeevi. “Chiranjeevi was not partial in allotting the tickets or posts to his family members. We are not a one family party,” he asserted.
To a question, Pavan said the PRP has emerged as a strong opponent not only in the coastal districts but also in Telangana region. He stressed that lack of development and unemployment were the chief reasons for the naxal uprising in Telangana.
Clarifying on his plea for gunmen, the Yuvarajyam leader said he has been receiving threatening calls from unidentified people and hence had asked the government to provide additional security to him.
Don’t come to wild conclusions looking at the heading. Chiranjeevi’s son in lawSirish Bharadwaj is happily enjoying in USA with his family. It was Chiranjeevi who advised him to keep away from this political heat in AP as media or political parties would certainly be over enthusiastic to tickle them. So it is an arrest of Sirish by Chiranjeevi. And it is known that curtains were downed on the ruptured relations between Chiru family and Sirish Bharadwaj. They are all together and united now. Sirish would come to the state along with family only after the heat of campaigning.

The so-called discipline in Prajarajyam Party ranks is in tatters. Loyal workers protesting denial of tickets to their leaders are resorting to violence, breaking furniture and setting party offices on fire.
At Kalwakurthy in Mahbubnagar district, PRP activists attacked the party office as their leader Jupalli Prabhakar Rao was not given the assembly ticket. They went on a rampage, damaging furniture and setting the PRP office on fire on Sunday.
Meanwhile, PRP Anantapur assembly candidate, T J Prakash, on Sunday lodged a complaint with district SP M K Singh that he suspected a bomb attack on his car on Saturday as his followers had heard a defeaning sound. “It could be the handiwork of those who did not get the ticket,” he said. The car, parked at his residence in Ramnagar, was in flames and his family members alerted the police.
Earlier, a group of Chiranjeevi fans had attacked the party office and set the furniture and computers on fire on Saturday afternoon in protest against denial of Anantapur assembly ticket to Rayalaseema Chiranjeevi Fans Association president A Surendra Babu.
But party sources said Prakash, a lodge owner belonging to Balija community, has been leading the district party ever since PRP was launched. “He has close contacts with Chiranjeevi family and since Balija community votes are prominent in Anantapur the party favoured Prakash,” a source said.
The PRP activists also staged a protest at Tadipatri in protest against the candidature of P Narasimhaiah for the assembly ticket. A group of dissidents are planning to field a rebel candidate from Kadiri assembly segment, sources said.
Junior NTR, the star campaigner for the Telugu Desam, could well be out of action for six to 10 weeks, said doctors attending him at the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences.

As Jr.NTR campaigned for this districts sometime back, the same places is being again toured by Chiru. This tour is likely to start from 26th of this month.
When many filmmakers in collaboration with political parties are making movies aiming at wooing film-savvy Telugu voters, and to malign the rival party leaders, can the die-hard fans of Mega Star-turned-politician K Chiranjeevi sit idle?
According to reliable sources, a movie is being made with strong political connotation that favours Chiranjeevi and his Praja Rajyam Party. The megastar saga has been filmed by PC Adithya, reveal our sources. The flick titled ‘Prajanayakudu’ is being produced by a die-hard fan of Chiranjeevi, B Ramesh.
The film that speaks volumes of the noble intentions of the PRP will hit the screens before the elections, sources said.
