The police are said to be mute witness to this incident.

TRS Leaders Eggs Throws on chiranjeevi ankita yatra

Praja Rajyam cadres on Wednesday staged an hour-long ‘silent’ protest near Mahatma Gandhi’s statue on M.G. Road, expressing their resentment against the throwing of eggs at party president K. Chiranjeevi in Warangal district on Tuesday.

Among those present were Praja Rajyam spokesman Parakala Prabhakar and State leader V.G.R. Naragoni.

The activists washed the statue with milk and garlanded it before observing silence with black badges pinned to their shirts and with black ribbons on their faces.

An hour later, they raised slogans denouncing people who were against social justice and demanded arrest of those who threw eggs on Chiranjeevi.

Interestingly, the PR cadres distributed a few hundred eggs to those who were watching the protest and passers-by.

At a press conference later, Mr. Parakala said that what Mr. Chiranjeevi told the television channel was ‘misread’. “There is no chance of the PR joining hands with the BJP, Telugu Desam and Congress. But we have not ruled electoral friendship with the Left parties and the Telangana Rashtra Samiti,” he clarified.

Chiranjeevi Declares No Alliance with BJP

Prajarajyam Party president Chiranjeevi on Wednesday ruled out any truck with the BJP in ensuing Assembly elections.

Speaking to newsmen here on Wednesday before embarking on the third day of his Praja Ankita Yatra, Chiranjeevi clarified that Prajarajyam was a secular party and would not tie-up with BJP at any cost. They were negotiating for a possible alliance with the Left parties and it was yet to be finalised. Chiranjeevi addressed massively attended road shows in Mahabubabad, Kuravi and Maripeda mandals. All along the route, people thronged the roads to see their favourite actor.

At Kuravi, he passed by the historic Veerabhadra Swamy temple without having darshan due to teeming crowds. After three kilometres, his vehicle broke down. Some of the locals informed the actor that none passed by the temple without having darshan of the Lord.

Chiranjeevi then got down and took another car to have darshan of the Lord before proceeding to Khammam district.

Chiranjeevi Juggernaut Overruns Naik’s Fort

Prajarajyam Party founder-president Chiranjeevi’s Praja Ankita Yatra, which ended in Telangana today, received overwhelming response in the Dornakal Assembly constituency which is represented by Tribal Welfare Minister DS Redya Naik. The PRP leaders are happy that youth and women, in large numbers, attended Chiranjeevi’s road shows in the Banjara-dominated constituency.

The Dornakal constituency has its own significance. Redya Naik has won five times consecutively from the constituency which is a General seat. Neither the TDP nor the TRS has any influence on the people in the segment.

Chiranjeevi participated in road shows at Kuravi and Maripeda where women gave a rousing welcome to him, all along. PRP observer Siddharthat Goud said they had apprehensions over the turnout as the road show was scheduled for the afternoon. “We wondered if people would leave their work in the middle and come on to the roads. But, in contrast to our fears, there was a huge turnout wherever Chiranjeevi went,’’ he said.

Chiranjeevi said special prayers at Kuravi Veerabhadra Swamy temple. Later, he participated in a road show at Maripeda bungalow.

After covering 450 km in the district, he proceeded to Khammam in the evening.

Except at Narsampet, where people threw eggs at him, the megastar encountered no hostile reception anywhere in the district. Not only in Hanamkonda and Warangal, he held road shows till late in the night even in forest areas like Pasra Govindraopet and Tadwai.

Jubilation Marks Arrival of Chiranjeevi

An explosion of jubilation and mighty chorus of loyalty marked the entry of the Prajarajyam chief Chiranjeevi into Khammam district late Wednesday evening.

Thousands of youths lined up holding the party flags aloft all along the Khammam – Maripeda road to greet him.

They hemmed round his vehicle at Madiripuram village leaving little space for the convoy to move on. It came to a halt near a roadside school building where he had his lunch along with his entourage around 5 p.m.

The crowds, which gathered at many of the roadside villages, kept swelling till late in the evening. The PR chief, who had just completed his campaign in Warangal district, preferred no rest and resumed his yatra around 6 p.m addressing a massive roadside gathering.

Elated by the rousing welcome accorded by the people at Pindiprolu, a strong hold of the CPI(ML New Democracy) and the CPI(M), he said he was overwhelmed by adoration and affection showered on him. Perhaps it was preserved for years for this occasion and

“I feel to be fortunate”. And in return “I will try to live up to the expectations of the people as a man of all – ‘Andarivadini’.

He said he came out to responding to the call of the people and would like be remain one among them as their servant.

“I know those whom you have voted to power could not do much for you”.

People have been left to their fate. There is scant regard for them. There is none to listen to their woes”.

That is why people felt the need of the Prajarajyam, he asserted.

“People wanted me because I knew no politics. I know only how to serve the people,” he said adding that the day was not far when all sections of the people would lead a happy life and live in a cheerful world.

He said the only enemy of the Prajarajyam, was corruption and the party would strive end this.

As the rally reached Khammam town, the Nayabazar centre and Mayuri centre was packed to the full.

Pawan Kalyan Will Be Richest Landlord

Posted by chiru On November - 6 - 2008

“Heads I win tails you lose”- That is the sort of envious position Pawan Kalyan is in today.
In the likelihood of a separate Andhra state being formed the capital city would be Vizag or Vijayawada. Now Pawan Kalyan it is widely believed has invested extensively in both these towns in real estate.

He is reportedly said to have about 3 acres of land just in the posh Moghalrajpuram area of Vijayawada. If a separate state is not to be formed Hyderabad would remain the capital of the state. In that scenario there is no doubt that Pawan Kalyan has extensively already invested in and around Hyderabad. So that is where this hero is in winning position by any chance. Pawan Kalyan has proved his ability by investing wisely.

Big Plan To Swallow Balakrishna

Posted by chiru On November - 6 - 2008

With ‘Yuvagarjana’ all set to hit the dais today, the battle cry of the Telugu Desam Party has been getting a lot of attention to know how best will the response be and also to get a feel of how much the political graphs can change with the happenings at today’s meet.

But most importantly, all eyes are on ‘Yuvaratna’ Balakrishna and his arrival to this meeting and all want to know on what designation would he be holding the microphone. Meanwhile, the print media who are favoring the event are gearing up with their teams to give maximum coverage to this event.

Knowing this, it is heard from the Congress camp that Y S has come up with a smart ploy of coming out with big space political ads in the newspapers tomorrow so that the space is consumed and Balayya might just end up waving his hand at one corner of a newspaper while the smiling face of YSR will be seen flashing on the key areas of newspapers. Let us see what happens now

Can These Beat Chiranjeevi?

Posted by chiru On November - 6 - 2008

With megastar Chiranjeevi gone into politics, the one thing that most of the film buffs would miss irrespective of fan following or anything is the gracious dance moves that he has always been famous for. Since the time of movies like ‘Khaidi’ ‘Rakshasudu’ to the recent ‘Indra’, Chiru had always been known for his difficult steps with an easy grace.

Now, the talk is on among the film folk as to who best can match the moves of Chiru. While names like NTR, Allu Arjun have been popping up apart from Mahesh Babu and even Prabhas, there seems to be a sort of vacuum to actually fill the huge benchmark that Chiru created when it came to the dance.

Agreed that NTR and Arjun perform some of the most difficult steps but then it is the poise and charm while shaking your body that really catches the eye of the audience. For now, the closest that one can get to Chiru seems to be only Jr NTR.

But whether anyone comes to beat Chiru in dance-like Chiru surpassed ANR.

Telangana Is Only Accent Dudes

Posted by chiru On November - 6 - 2008

Whether the sentiment really exists or not but then the politicians have been making a ruckus out of this issue and are not hesitating to break the state into two just for the sheer greed of obtaining power. We are talking about the hot and boiling Telangana issue that has created disloyalties, betrayals and many other hideous moves in the political circles.

Now, some of the mindless leaders have gone a step forward and want to change the entire boards of Telugu and Andhra into Telangana. The wise men say that Telangana is not a dialect or a separate language, it is just an accent that is used by the natives of that region.

So one really fails to understand what is the logic behind changing the boards and names, all in all, it has become a rather shameful situation right now with many greedy leaders just focusing on grabbing the power chair and exploiting the genuine sentiment that existed many years ago in the hearts of truthful and dedicated men.

They may split the political boundaries of state. But how can they split the language to have separate identity? Telengana people cannot disown ‘Telugu Thalli’ even if a separate state forms. While ‘Telengana Thalli’ is the political representative, ‘Telugu Thalli’ is the language representative.

“Those elected in 2004 polls have not done anything on Telangana issue. I have already said we will welcome any move by the Centre towards the formation of separate state. What more clarity do I need to give? If you give us more seats, we will definitely put more pressure on the Centre,” he said. Chiranjeevi was responding to slogans during his road show by supporters of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) workers that he should be more clear on the demand for separate statehood.

Chiru said “In this Telangana, you accepted my films just for my presence, I take this opportunity to come for you, to listen to you and to understand your issues. I see this as a special way for me to come and listen and mingle to you. For 30 years you enjoyed my film life, PRP is born out of your issues which were neglected for decades, I have come to bring CHANGE. Praja Rajyam needs your blessings”.

It took lot of courage for me to leave my career in films and to serve you as I see this as a most meaning full life. I will stay truthful and honest. You are my source of inspiration and your will direct my life. I consulted lot of active politicians and many political and administrative professionals on your problems, they all pointed that it’s because of lack of sincerity and Political corruption which are eating and Piling up the issues and development.

Fed up with these promises and fooled continuously for decades, you created a vacuum for change. For this vacuum you invited me to bring CHANGE. It’s your support that I get my rhythm and confidence that I can bring change. Chiru promised green revolution in lives of people ManaKonduru.
