Tamil Ghajini producer Chandra Shekar knocked the doors of Chennai high court long back . His petition speaks that Allu Arvind made Hindi Ghajini without his permission. Chandrashekar also mention that Allu Arvind had produced fake documents of his permission to remake the film in Hindi. This entire episode was before the release of Hindi Ghajini.

The High court order the Hindi Ghajini producers (Allu Arvind ) to deposit Rs 56 Crs before releasing the Hindi Ghajini. Allu Arvind deposited Rs56 Crs with court to release his Hindi Ghajini.

But after some time, the Chennai High court has passed the judgment in favor of Chandrashekar and decided to pay that amount of Rs.56 Crs to Chandra Shekar.

Knowing this, Geeta arts of Allu arvind approached supreme Court requesting the Court to ask for status quo and not to pay the amount to Chandra shekar.

Supreme Court of India asked Chennai High Court to clear the case as soon as possible and not to pay the amount to Chandra shekar still the final judgment arrived.

In the mean time, Bollywood magazines have written that the Hindi Ghajini has collected Rs230 Crs.

Knowing this Chandrshekar once again knocked the door of Chennai High Court with petition that says ‘Allu arvind has earned Crores of Rupees with Hindi Ghajini and he spent that amount for political party established by his brother-in law Chiru’.

Reacting to this petition, Chennai High Court once again issued notices to Allu Arvind asking Arvind to file writ-petition on this issue.

Chiranjeevi(2)
TIRUPATI: Chiranjeevi who took a plunge into full-time politics giving up his lucrative film career and got elected as legislator from Tirupati has said that though he had donned several roles as a hero in films, playing the role of an MLA in real life is an altogether different experience.

“In a film shooting, if a shot is not okayed by the director, there was always scope for ‘take-2’, ‘take-3’ and so on. But as an MLA, I am aware that there is only ‘take-1’ in politics and so I have to tread cautiously and live up to your expectations. It is not acting as an MLA in a movie but I have to live in the character in my real life,” he said.

He is enjoying Megastar image?

chiru tour2
Chiranjeevi has made up his mind not to get into movies again but still he is enjoying image of Megastar amongst people, It was proved once again during his Tirupati visit in the last couple of days. He still has a huge fan following and the people came on to streets to see their hero and present MLA. Had he been a normal MLA, there would not have been so many crowds on the streets just to see him and shake hands with him. It appeared as if they were watching only a film hero in him, rather than an MLA. He will, no doubt, get a similar reception everywhere in the state; even in a remote village.

‘Rail engine’ derailed PRP prospects:chiranjeevi

18pan14a

TIRUPATI: Praja Rajyam (PR) president and Tirupati MLA Chiranjeevi on Thursday conceded that the party’s ‘rail engine’ symbol was too confusing and possibly ruined the winning chances of its candidates in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Participating in a ‘meet the press’ programme organised at the Press Club here, he said another factor which impacted the winning chances of the party was the alleged political contrivances behind fielding independents with symbols like tractor, bulldozer, bread etc. These symbols resembled the PR’s rail engine and confused ordinary voters, he said.

Mr. Chiranjeevi said the PR would take up with the Election Commission to allot it this time a ‘small and clear’ symbol. “We 100 per cent want to change the symbol,” he said.

To a question he denied that his brothers – Naga Babu and Pavan Kalyan — were sidelined in the party affairs. He said, they were not in active politics and as fulltime actors they had their own professions. Another reason he cited was to steer clear of criticism that he was encouraging nepotism in the party

On the stand-off between DGP S.S.P. Yadav and Chief Electoral Officer I.V. Subba Rao, Mr. Chiranjeevi felt the DGP was perhaps stretching the issue ‘too far’.

On alliances
On the possibilities of the PR having a truck with like-minded parties in the ensuing GHMC and local body elections, Mr. Chiranjeevi said it was too early to take any decision. .

Chiru has got lot of challenges ahead

chiranjeevi3
According to film nagar sources, Chiru has got lot of challenges ahead, its expected that it may be from his fans, as during the election time, there was also a buzz that many of Chiru’s fans were seeing holding opposition party flags and this happened in Tirupati and Palakollu alike.

Now, the time has come when the Chiru fans will be seen during the arrival of the film ‘Magadheera’ and they might want to tie the banners. However given their political differences, it could spark new tensions between themselves so this will be another challenge for Chiru.

Praja Rajyam Comments On Cabinet Ministers List

chie-mahil-paty

HYDERABAD: Praja Rajyam has regretted that ‘injustice’ had been done to the State in terms of the poor representation in the Union Council of Ministers and charged Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy with lack of will to pursue the State’s agenda. At a press conference here on Thursday, senior leader T. Sitaram said that although 33 Congress MPs were elected from the State, Dr. Reddy managed to secure only one Cabinet rank Minister and four Ministers of State.

In comparison, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, that sent lesser number of Congress and Trinamool Congress MPs, had bagged many more berths while the NCP could get three. He regretted that the North-South divide still continued despite better performance. Of the 78-strong Union Cabinet, only 26 were from the South, he said.
