People will beat Roja with chappals

Actress turned politician and Telugu Mahila president Roja has kicked up yet another controversy. However, the target this time was not Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) leaders, but Congress activists who had protested against her in Chittoor district on Friday.

After she was prevented from entering a village, Roja called upon Telugu Desam Party (TDP) cadre to give a befitting reply for those who have protested against her with chappals (footwear). This statement made Congress MLC Ganga Bhavani fume at the Telugu Mahila president.

Speaking to reporters at Chief Minister’s camp office on Saturday, Ganga Bhavani has said Roja was mentally unsound and thus speaking like a mad woman. “It has become a daily routine for Roja to scold others and get scolded herself by others. People will thrash her with chappals if she continues to speak like this,” Ganga Bhavani said.

She said TDP leaders were speaking out of frustration because it has become clear that they are not going to win the elections. She advised Roja to keep her tongue under control.

There is a feeling that inducting Balakrishna and NTR into poll campaign would deliver great benefits to Chandra Babu. The great response to Nandamuri Celebrities had made several parties to think enhancing support from TDP allies and rethinking on strategy from Congress and PRP. Pravasa Chiranjeevi Organization conducted successfully the seventh & eighth “PRAVASA VAARADHI” events in Toronto, Canada and Malaysia on August 2nd and 3rd 2008. Both the events received huge response and the audience expressed their unprecedented support to Dr. Chiranjeevi. Mr. Nagendra Babu speaking on both the occasions via Tele-Conference, appreciated the support of NRIs and assured that Chiru Political Party will bring justice for all and mentioned that Dr. Chiranjeevi will announce the party in third week of August.

Pravasa Chiranjeevi Organization President Mr. Narasaiah Vadranam, speaking on the occasion said that Dr.Chiranjeevi’s political entry will provide economic and political justice to all, irrespective of the communities and regions. Prominent Toronto based NRIs Rajendra Prasad Motepalli, Ramesh Ramineni, Prasad Dongla, Bose Vemuri, Mr. and Mrs. Surya Narayan Bezawada and Riaz Ali expressed confidence with Dr. Chiranjeevi and their hope that new party will bring change for better. Veteran Srinivasa Rao Godapati spoke about the need of new leader in Andhra Pradesh politics. Srinivasa Rao Kandela from Detroit elaborated on the need for social justice and rural economical development. Advisor Siva Kumar Arza, addressing the audience spoke about the economical imbalance in the state for the last 60 years and a “Positive Change” can come only with Dr.Chiranjeevi. Praja Rajyam Party Chief Megastar Chiru who is planning to contest Tirupathi assembly constituency has purchased a bungalow in Tirupathi by spending Rs1.30 Crs

The Bungalow is located in Khadi Colony, beside the lane of Jaganmatha Church.

Allu Arvind and Sureka Chiranjeevi are likely to come down to Tirupathi to perform the Pooja in the newly purchased building.

Chiru has purchased this building to avoid the talk of non-local from opposition in the next elections.
