1)Diploma Trainee (Electrical)
No of Posts : 10
Pay Scale: Rs. 16500 pm
Qualification:Diploma in Engineering in Electrical discipline from a recognized polytechnic with minimum of 70% marks (SC/ST/PH with Pass Marks).

2)Diploma Trainee (Civil)
No of Posts : 4
Pay Scale: Rs. 16500 pm
Qualification : Diploma in Engineering in Civil discipline from a recognized polytechnic with minimum of 70% marks (SC/ST/PH with Pass Marks).

How To Apply : Candidates along with a recent passport size photograph afficed on form along with a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 200/- in a form of Crossed DD from any Nationalized Bank only favouring ” Power Grid Corporation of India Limited” payable at Kolkata. SC/ST/PH/Exs are exempted from application fee.

In West Bengal train Accident at least 50 people were dead and 150 injured when the speeding Sealdah-bound Uttar Banga Express rammed into the stationary Bhagalpur-Ranchi Vananchal Express from the rear at Sainthia station in Birbhum.

The death toll number may increase with time as the rescue operation is going on.

According to the report the reason is that the driver had overshot the red signal and despite of having a stoppage over there he brought the train at such a fast speed.

West Bengal School Service Commission will conduct 11th Regional Level Selection Test (RLST) on 10.10.2010 (Sunday) for Recruitment of Assistant Teachers in Recognized Non-Govt. aided Jr. High / High /Higher Secondary Schools in West Bengal.

Medium of Answers: Questions will be set in English & Bengali. Answers to be given either in English or Bengali except in LANGUAGE PAPERS. Candidates applying for English medium Schools shall have to write answers in English only except in LANGUAGE PAPERS.
