SCALE OF PAY:

Approximate CTC for E-II Grade is Rs.5.2 Lakhs per annum

Wage Settlement Signed Details :

The Settlement covers 46 Banks (26 Public Sector Banks, 12 Private Sector Banks and 8 Foreign Banks) and would benefit 4,77,000 workmen employees and 2,75,000 officers. The Settlement would cost the Banks an additional increase in wages by Rs.5,200 crores per year (Rs.4,816 crores for Public Sector Banks and around Rs.400 crores for private and Foreign Banks). The Settlement will be effective from November 2007 to October 2012.

Under the Settlement all the remaining 2,60,000 employees and officers who are now covered by CPF would be given a chance to join the Pension Scheme – a long time demand of the Unions. More than 50,000 retirees will also get the option to join the pension scheme.

The Settlement is preceded by 30 months of protracted negotiations between the IBA and the unions, and was backed by various agitational programmes and strike actions, which were enthusiastically implemented by the members. There were many anxious moments during this period coupled with loads of misinformations, orchestrated columnies and virulent propaganda against all our efforts to settle. Added to this were the attempts to undermine the organistion, decry the leadership and derail the negotiations. But overcoming this and these, we have concluded the Settlement successfully.

1.The merit list has been prepared on the basis of overall CAT percentile scores. In case of tie, candidates have been assigned merit /rank number based on their relative percentile scores in Quantitative, Logic& Data Interpretation, Verbal sections respectively followed by age.

2.Reserve category candidates whose names also figure in the open list are advised to attend counseling on the scheduled day for open seats failing which they will only be entertained for their respective category seats later on as per the schedule.

Swami Nithyananda Revealed Secrets by CID Investigation | 24 carat gold Smuggler by Swami Nithyananda

CID sleuths have revealed that Swami Nithyananda would routinely smuggle 24 carat gold weighing several kilograms from the US.

According to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Swami Nithyananda visited the US quite often. During his visits, he used to carry objects that looked like gold.

“He usually got things made in form of rosaries and sandals that he used to wear while returning to India,” reads a DRI letter that was sent to the Bangalore airport authorities, a copy of which is in possession of MiD DAY.

The letter also mentions that Swami Nithyananda misused his image of a spiritual guru to smuggle gold.

According to the officials, the swami believed that he’d be never caught, as the custom officials never bothered to check him when he used to go on spiritual trips.

IFS Officer Madhuri Gupta was Arrested in Pakistan | Indian Ministry of External Affairs Arrested

A woman Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Madhuri Gupta, posted at the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, has been arrested for allegedly spying and passing on strategic information to Pakistan.

Gupta is a second secretary (press information) of the IFS B service.

Sources said suspicions about Gupta had been raised about eight to nine months ago by colleagues and the mission. These were investigated by both the Ministry of External Affairs and the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

A promotee officer of Ministry of External Affairs, 53-year-old Madhuri Gupta, was arrested here four days back after she was summoned to Delhi on the pretext of discussions on the current SAARC summit meeting held in Thimpu, Bhutan, the sources said.

The government is now looking into whether others also involved.

Gupta is alleged to have been in touch with Pakistan’s secret service ISI for about 2 years now, sources said.

Four days ago, she was called to Delhi and she allegedly confessed to being in touch with the Pakistan agency. for more details
