Chiranjeevi’s Strike Rate In Drinking Has Increased | chiru drinking increased | chiru thagubothu ah?

Why?????

one interesting aspect for many in the film industry is to know what brand of drink the big heroes have. It is said that for Balayya, it is the popular Mansion House. However, when it comes to megastar Chiranjeevi, here is the information as per the sources.

It seems that Chiru likes different brands and his range of drinks range from local to non-local varieties. Also, a few say that his strike rate in drinking has increased quite a bit in the recent past and many are in wonder as to how he can make any drink go easy into his system.

There is also another version that Chiru has got a special passion for imported brands and he has like a collection of some of the finest brands with him. So those who form the intimate circle of Chiru tend to be the lucky ones to share the different brands and that too the high quality ones with the megastar.

Chiranjeevi Celebrates Birthday With Family | Chiranjeevi to celebrate 54rd birthday

chiru-inner

Hyderabad, Aug 22 (IANS) Four days before he formally launches his political party, Telugu film star and wannabe-politician Chiranjeevi Friday celebrated his 54rd birthday quietly with his family.

After a three-decade-long film career, he proposes to launch Aug 26 his yet unnamed party at a public meeting in the temple town of Tirupati. He announced his entry into politics Sunday, saying he was dedicating his life to serving the people.

Not sure whether he would find time for the family later, the actor preferred to celebrate his birthday at his house in the upmarket Jubilee Hills here. He spent the day with his mother Anjana Devi, wife Surekha and other family members.

In sharp contrast, his supporters and fans celebrated the day with much fanfare.

A large number of them gathered outside his house and at the party office to greet him.

Chiru, as he is popularly known, had appealed to his fans across the state not to reach Hyderabad to greet him and instead take up social work and plant trees in their respective towns and villages.

Responding to his call, fans’ associations organised meals for the poor, health check-up camps, blood donation camps and distributed fruits among patients at various hospitals besides planting trees.

The fans also cut huge cakes, took out processions and organised free screening of some films of the actor.

In Visakhapatnam, Chiranjeevi’s fans cut a 53-kg cake, burst firecrackers and raised slogans hailing his entry into politics.

The celebrations in Vijayawada triggered tension when fans of popular actor Mahesh Babu took exception to the removal of his cut-out by Chiru’s fans. One person was injured in the resulting clash between the two groups.

Mahesh Babu, son of veteran actor and former Congress MP G.S. Krishna, celebrated his birthday earlier this month amid speculations that he would campaign for the ruling Congress party in next year’s elections.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s fans have stepped up efforts to mobilise huge crowds for the Aug 26 meeting at Tirupati, where the actor would announce the name of his party and its agenda.

Though his fans were expecting that he would launch the party on his birthday, he preferred to do it on the birth anniversary of Mother Teresa, whom he described as his source of inspiration.

Chiru is already engaged in social service and runs a blood and eye bank here and his fans hope to see him as the next chief minister.

He has a huge fan following, comparable to thespian N.T. Rama Rao, who had taken the state politics by storm by floating Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1982. NTR had come to power within nine months of launching the party.

Born on Aug 22, 1955 in Mogalturu, a small village in the coastal district of West Godavari in the family of an excise constable, Chiru was christened Konidela Siva Shankara Varaprasad.

After graduating in commerce, he began his film career in 1978 – when he renamed himself Chiranjeevi – and carved out a niche for himself with his image of an action hero. He acted in 147 films and churned several blockbusters including those with social message.

Chiru bagged various awards for his acting, his contribution to Telugu cinema and social service. He was also awarded Padma Bhushan in 2006.

Known to be a sensitive and kind-hearted man, Chiru Thursday admitted a physically challenged person as the first member of his party. ‘I will be the second member,’ he said.

Chiranjeevi has Not keen on leading protest

chiru-in-tirupati-pressmeet

It seems PRP chief Chiranjeevi was not keen on leading a protest against price rise on Thursday and staging what would be his first political arrest, according to sources.”On Wednesday night, he inquired from senior leaders like Devender Goud as to what would courting arrest mean. Would it involve being locked up in a police station, Chiranjeevi asked and suggested that he would monitor the protest from the party office rather than physically lead it. However, he was prevailed upon to lead the protest,” one leader told media.

Chiranjeevi’s entry enthused his supporters and the protest became disruptive due to the presence of the media. Finding the cameras focused on them, the PRP supporters soon blocked the lower road on either side and extended it to the flyover that went over the Paradise crossing.

Within minutes, traffic was paralysed on both sides due to the sit-in by PRP workers. As this road was blocked, commuters jammed up on the Paradise Hotel-Prenderghast Road which compounded the jam eventually all the way to the Punjagutta crossroads. After the PRP activists held up traffic for almost one-and-half hours, the police, who played mute spectators for an unusually long period, finally arrested the protesters after resorting to a mild lathicharge. While the arrested workers and leaders looked at ease when being loaded on to a police bus, the PRP chief was clearly not so.

Chiru was arrested in Secunderabad Photos

Chiranjeevi, the president of the Praja Rajyam Party was arrested by the Secunderabad Police on Thursday. This was following a protest which he had staged against the soaring prices of essential commodities. The dharna had taken on a violent turn when the former actor and political leader caused inconvenience to the general public by obstructing the traffic for nearly an hour or so at the Sardar Road which is always teeming with people and vehicles.

Buzz up!
The PRP workers including T. Devender Goud, K. Venkat Rao and others started their dharna just outside the office of the Chief Rationing Officer at around 10.30 a.m. The dharna saw the leaders wearign garlands made of vegetables insead of flowers. The leader of the party Chiranjeevi joined them later by around 11:30 am.

The dharna turned unruly and the police had to resort to lathi charge when many of the eminent party workers suffered injuries and had to be rushed to the hospital for mediacl help.

Chiranjeevi’s party gets Raising Sun symbol finally

Chiranjeevi’s party gets Raising Sun symbol finally

The Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) of actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi and the Lok Satta party of former bureaucrat Jaiprakash Narayan got a major relief Friday following the Supreme Court fiat to the Election Commission to allot them common election symbols.

Chiranjeevi thanked the apex court for its order, directing the poll panel to allot ‘rail engine’ as the symbol for PRP.

‘We had full faith in judiciary and were sure of getting justice,’ Chiranjeevi told reporters while campaigning in West Goadavari district in coastal Andhra Pradesh.

The Supreme Court Friday directed the Election Commission to accommodate the demand of three registered but unrecognised political parties, including Tamil star Vijaykanth’s DMDK, for common symbol in their states.

Chiranjeevi’s party had approached the court after the Election Commission rejected its demand to allot ‘rail engine’ as the common symbol on the ground that only recognised national and state-level parties were entitled to have a fixed and common symbol.

The court order has come as a major relief to PRP, which was worried about its performance in the absence of a common symbol.

Lok Satta president Jaiprakash Narayan hailed the Supreme Court order. ‘The (whistle) symbol signifies the awakening we are trying to create among people,’ he said.

Magadheera Movie Story In One line

We can define Magadheera story as ‘ Love is immortal, there is no end for it. It follows Generations together. Finally it gives Victory to lovers’. This is concept of the Magadheera. Now Rajamouli is giving commercial touch to this story line. Rajamouli making this film in Hollywood style. Charan is playing two types of roles for this film. One is of folk and the other is of modern hero.

That song in Magadheera not up to the mark?

Bangaru Kodipetta.. song is a memorable one in Chiru’s film carrier. The song has brought many new fans to Chiru in those days. Now MM Keeravani remixed the song and Rajamouli made Chiru and Charan to dance for this song.

Fans of Megastar are eagerly waiting for the film to release as they want to see how Charan performed for this son.

On the other hand, Megafans are under the impression that the song Bangaru Kodipetta isn’t tuned up to the mark.

One has to wait and see to come to a conclusion on Keeravani’s work for that song.

Chirajeevi working Hard For GHMC Elections

The Praja Rajyam on Thursday announced the constitution of a District Programmes State Coordination Committee with senior leaders P. Upendra, T. Devender Goud and C. Ramachandraiah as members.

At a press conference, Mr. Goud said the apex body of the party would interact with district in-charges and observers.

Convener
Also, in what is the first step, keeping the impending elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in mind, the party named Kattela Srinivas Yadav as convener of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation unit of the party.

Mr. Yadav is currently joint convenor of the party, he was also an aspirant for the Sanathnagar Assembly ticket.

The zonal convenors have been asked to come up with 10 names of leaders to be taken on board, as members of the zonal committees before July 10, while the 5-member division committees for the 150 divisions in the GHMC will be finalised by July 18. After final scrutiny, Mr. Chiranjeevi will finalise the GHMC committee by July 20, he said. Drawing inputs from them, the three-member committee would compile lists of leaders to take the party forward in its endeavour to strengthen its infrastructure down to the mandal-level.

The list would then be forwarded to the party president, after which fresh district committees were expected to be constituted.

Mr. Ramachandraiah said five zonal convenors too were named. They are: Mekala Sarangapani (North), Md. Feroz Khan (South), Sama Ranga Reddy (East), Govind Ashok (Central) and Madaram Narsinga Rao (West). Each zone will have five-member committees, including the convener.
