The advisors of megastar and Praja Rajyam party president Chiranjeevi are understood to be desperately looking for a good speech trainer for him, so as to make his speeches more effective.
There has been criticism that though people are coming to his meetings and road shows in large numbers, because of his film personality, they are not too happy with his speech. Most of the political observers felt that there is no emotional touch in Chiranjeevi’s speeches.
“Political speeches should be rabble rousing. They should strike at the heart of the listener. See how Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, or for that matter, even Chandrababu Naidu speak. They convey the message loud and clear. In the case of Chiranjeevi, no matter how effectively he is trying to speak, people are not able to take it to their hearts,” an observer said.
That is the reason why Lok Satta president Jayaprakash Narayan is not able to become a public speaker. He speaks sense, but is not able to give it an emotional touch. So, it is better, Chiru gets some training in it. Better late than never, man!
