Irrespective of whether the Telangana Rashtra Samithi would have an alliance with Praja Rajyam party or not, PRP president Chiranjeevi appears to have decided to make a dent into the TRS vote bank in Telangana.
PRP sources said apart from coastal Andhra, it is only in Telangana that the PRP got some positive signals. If he can make some more efforts, Chiranjeevi can easily get 20-30 seats in Telangana region, his advisors believe. That is the reason why, he is focussing more on TRS strongholds, so that he can eat into the Telangana votes.
The “Praja Ankita Sabhalu” being planned by Chiranjeevi in Medak and Nalgonda districts in the coming week, are targeted at attracting pro-Telangana voters into the PRP vote bank. And he is expected to give more positive indications on Telangana during these meetings.
