It is the chain reaction of Pawan kalyan’s personalised comments on Congress party and its leaders. Dr.Rajashekar and his wife participating in a hot discussion conducted by a private TV channel, both of them heavily came down on PR president Chiranjeevi , and his younger brother Pawan kalyan.

Dr.Rajashekar asked whether Chiranjeevi is feeling himself as a god to give Darshan to the people? “ Chiranjeevi has no basic knowledge about the politics, but he is acting as a matured politician. First, he should avoid acting as a saviour of the people and learn how to serve the people. He should serve the people first for two or three years and then ask them for votes. What did he done for the people all these years, is nothing but running a blood bank on purely commercial basis?

He earned crores of rupees from his fans with his films, but spent nothing for them. He not even bothered for his fans, who came from far away places, just to have a shake hand with him. He is a man of selfishness. He proved it during his film career. He never entertained the industry people who sought his help in distress. How can a person like him expected of giving social justice? How can people rely on him?

Chiranjeevi , despite having large resources, did nothing for the poor and needy. His brother Pawan kalyan is yet another political joker, grandly announced about the voluntary organisation named, Common man Protection Force and signed Rs. One crore cheque in favour of it in the presence of media. But where are that force and the cheque? The cheque he took out from one of his pocket disappeared into his other pocket. This is the way they both serve the people if elected. People can understand their selfish nature and avoid vote for them. If the people vote them to power they have to suffer for five long years with out any scope or hope.”

Pawan Kalyan Breaths Life Into PRP Cadre

Posted by chiru On December - 31 - 2008

No matter whether he was right or wrong; no matter whether his charges were right or wrong. Pawan Kalyan had breathed a new lease of life into the cadre of the Praja Rajyam Party, who has been getting diluted with the pale speeches of Chiranjeevi.

The enthusiasm of the pre-launching of PRP was diluted as Chiranjeevi started visiting the districts. He had failed to impress the people and ignite the cadre with his slow speeches that lacked punches.

It was felt that the PRP was losing its charm and the Congress leaders felt that the situation was turning favourable to the Telugu Desam. Actor Balakrishna has been delivering attracting statements to raise the morale of the cadre.

When the flow was very slow in PRP, Pawan Kalyan’s delivered punches electrifying the cadre across the State. The cadre is now talking about Pawan’s leadership qualities.

“Who cares to look into the fairness of the charges? Politics today need such statements to keep the cadre alive and active. That is what Pawan Kalyan had done,” said a PRP leader here.

Pawan Kalyan’s remarks have given a new meaning to the Gandhi giri of PRP. However, these remarks have come as a blessing in disguise for PRP with cadre pinning hopes on the young boss.

Congress leaders comments on Pavan kalyan

Minister Shabbir Ali called Pawan Kalyan a ‘loafer’. We all know that Pawan Kalyan has made a big hue and cry with his comments on the ruling Congress Party for demolishing the slums in Bheemrao Vada yesterday. As Pawan Kalyan called YSR and other Congress Ministers as ‘Desa Drohulu’ today Shabbir Ali responded to that saying that Pawan Kalyan is a loafer and it is a waste of time to talk about him. But since that was a Press Meet on that topic he said, “Pawan is a loafer. Whom he married and with whom he is sleeping? He has no right to talk anything about Congress or its leaders”.

He also added, “Pawan called madarsas as terrorist training institutes, He should say sorry for entire Muslim community. I am also filing a defamation suit on him”.

On the other hand, the Congress leaders wished to show their protest in Gandian way to Pawan Kalyan by giving flowers for PRP leaders. And PRP leaders are also ready to hug Congress groups in Gandian style. We have to see where it ends.

Vangaveeti Puts Kapu Credibility at Stake

Posted by chiru On December - 31 - 2008

Vijayawada: The Vangaveeti family, which had won the support of every Kapu family in the Coastal districts, is now viewed as trouble maker.

The Vangaveeti clan, who have succeeded Congress slain MLA, Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga, have benefited by the Congress in the last 20 years, but are seen as betrayers of the Congress. Their attitude has put the credibility of the total Kapu community at stake, the Congress leaders believe.

After the murder of Mohana Ranga, the Congress had made his brother Vangaveeti Sobhana Chalapathi Rao, as MLA from Vuyyuru. Chalapathi Rao had represented the Congress twice in Assembly. The party had made Chalapathi Rao’s son, Santhan Kumar, as Youth Congress leader. Senior Congress leaders like Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, Jakkampudi Ramamohana Rao and Ambati Rambabu, have extended their support to Santhan during the past two decades. Unfortunately, the family had distanced from the Congress.

Besides honouring Chalapathi Rao, the Congress had also honoured Ranga’s widow, Rathna Kumari and made her MLA twice in Vijayawada. She too had betrayed the party and jumped into Telugu Desam.

Now, it was the turn of Ranga’s son, Radha Krishna, whom the party made MLA from Vijayawada. While being in the Congress, Radha Krishna had failed to strengthen the party in the last four years. On the contrary, he had put the party in trouble on several occasions.

His decision to join the Praja Rajyam too is being considered as betrayal. He had promised to stay back in the Congress in the midst of speculation and had made his corporator, Rathna Bindu, as Mayor of this city. Where his promise to stay with the Congress has gone is the big question now.

With every successor from the Vangaveeti clan betraying the Congress, the credibility of the Kapu community is now at stake. Majority of the Kapus from the coastal districts believe that time had come for them to prove their loyalties to the Congress. Some of the Kapunadu leaders are now holding internal talks to stay with Congress and prove their credibility.

Thanks to the Vangaveeti’s actions, the Congress is now set to benefit as the Kapus are getting ready to prove their loyalties to the party.

The Praja Rajyam Party leadership seems to be quite busy, the party leadership has reportedly suggested that the party Manifesto would be out after or during the festive time of Sankranthi.

Reportedly senior party leaders and members are working on the manifesto with top priority and as is known the motto of the party is “Work and Food for All”.

It is understood that Praja Rajyam Party would continue the current welfare programs, and also emphasize on making sure these programs benefit the people they were intended for and not corrupt officials and politicians.

Special committees have been formulated by PRP to complete a draft of the Manifesto by 31st of the month and then a special team would sit together discuss and further refine the Manifesto, finally the Manifesto will be prepared and ready for public disclosure by early January that is around the Sankranthi time.

KCR holds secret talks with PRP leaders

Despite having a direct understanding with Nava Telangana Party, the Praja Rajyam Party of Chiranjeevi has not lost hope on alliance with the TRS.

After seeing the response TRS got at the public meeting at Nizam College grounds on Monday, the PRP leaders stepped up their efforts to forge an alliance with TRS. On Tuesday, PRP leaders Allu Aravind and Nagababu had a secret talk with TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao at the residence of KCR’s relative Martanda Rao and discussed the seat sharing aspect thoroughly.

Though the outcome is not yet known, the meeting itself is significant, at a time when the TD-left combine is desperately trying to rope TRS into their camp. Now, KCR is in great demand. Let us see, whom would he prefer – Naidu or Chiru.

Parakala Prabhakar spoke to the media on behalf of PRP, he found fault with Congress’s claim that they don’t have Party Offices like other political parties, he said all the congress party offices are locate din Congress trust buildings, and he ridiculed how the Government in the name of extending Gandhi Bhavan rooted out hundreds of poor peoples homes. He also pointed at a recent 100 Acre land acquisition made by Congress to start training facility for party members. He stated that Congress party’s thirst for land and money was un-quenchable and he also stated that congress party should be taught a lesson for the same.

Further he also expressed the party’s stand on its affiliation and/or association with BJP. Prabhakar expressed amaze at why BJP was so eagerly awaiting to tie up with them for the elections, he said that PRP wasn’t currently in any interest looking at a tie up or polls association with BJP.

Recently, it was reported that the shooting of Pawan’s Komaram Puli was postponed for five months as Pawan is set to campaign for PRP from January.

However, these reports have proved wrong as the shooting of the next schedule would take place from 3rd January to 15th February.

The entire shooting, except four songs, would be completed in this schedule. The remaining songs would be shot in March and the movie is slated to release during summer 2009.

Ramesh Babu is producing the movie under Kanakaratna Movies banner. AR. Rahman is scoring the music for the movie.

Congress wants PR to gain

Hyderabad: The latest survey conducted by the Congress to gauge public opinion in the state claims that Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam has lost strength in recent weeks. As per the survey, the Praja Rajyam is struggling at the third spot behind the Congress which is first in line and the Telugu Desam-Left alliance, which is second.

In the earlier surveys conducted by the Congress, the TD had secured only the third place. A Congress source said the survey revealed that the political situation in Rayalseema and Coastal Andhra which accounted for 175 seats was in favour of the ruling party and gave it a clear edge over others. The party believes it will get 50 to 56 per cent of the votes here.

But when it comes to Telangana region, the survey warns that the TD and its Left friends will give the Congress a tough fight. As such the Telangana Rastra Samithi and Praja Rajyam come third and fourth in the survey.

However, if the TRS also joins the TD-Left alliance, then the Congress will have a tougher fight in its hands. The survey indicates Congress will get 60 seats out of 119 and TD with Left parties would get around 30 and the remaining will be shared by TRS and Praja Rajyam.

Though survey does not dwell on possible results if the TRS ties up with the TD, it is evident that the vote share of TRS would be added to the alliance making things difficult for the Congress in a number of Telangana districts.

“Earlier we were hoping that the Telugu Desam would get stronger to get more votes than Praja Rajyam, but after the latest survey we are wishing that the Praja Rajyam should perform well to split the sizeble opposition vote,” added the source.

The survey says that in Adilabad and Warangal, the Congress is going to win majority of seats because of the split in the opposition vote between the TD, the TRS and Praja Rajyam.

Similarly, the Congress will sweep the polls in Guntur and Krishna district despite Praja Rajyam and TD wielding much influence among the Kaapu and Kamma communities. The Congress is planning to conduct one more survey by the end of January 2009 before readying for the real battle.
