Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi’s second phase of Praja Ankita Yatra has been limited to seven days due to concerns over his health. Chiranjeevi is likely to tour four districts during the tour scheduled to start on October 30. His first phase of yatra was already cut short as he was down with a sore throat. In order to prevent such an eventuality in the second phase, the Prajarajyam Party core committee which met here on Tuesday to finalise the tour schedule has decided to limit the tour and reduced the number of towns which will be visited by Chiranjeevi .
The Praja Rajyam Party chief will start his tour in Karimnagar and proceed to Warangal, Khammam and Nalgonda districts. However, sources in the party said that Nalgonda was dropped from the list of places to be toured. Party leaders are anxious to know the response he will get in Telangana as it will be a deciding region with many parties contesting the 119 Assembly seats. Chiranjeevi is giving final touches to his speeches in Telangana, where he will also announce the party’s stand on the proposed statehood for the region. Praja Rajyam Party sources said that Chiranjeevi will spell out a favourable stand on the movement.
